Last week several colleagues from DCR (both the Rotherham and Buttrio, Italy offices) travelled to London to join scrap recyclers and equipment manufacturers from across the UK, in celebrating the BMRA’s ‘100 Years in Metals Recycling’ event, held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.

There were over 500 attendees, with a networking session/exhibition in the afternoon, followed by a drinks reception and dinner in the evening. There was an auction, a raffle, and an awards ceremony for ‘Lifetime Achievement’, as well as some fantastic entertainment from a group of magicians!

It was very positive to see so many people from the industry there, and everyone looked very smart in dinner suits and ballgowns! A good evening was had by all, with the celebrations going on well into the night.
